Oceans – “Romance Isn’t Dead, It’s Only Sleeping” (EP Review)

Six months after the success of their debut single “Moore Lane”, Chepstow alt pop/rock four piece Oceans return with the release of their first extended play, “Romance Isn’t Dead, It’s Only Sleeping”.

If you enjoyed their debut then you will no doubt love what is essentially a continuation from their previous release, meaning lots of chunky rhythms and melodic guitar riffs combined with emotive lyrics that are delivered with earnest passion.

Although they’ve been around over half a decade, Oceans are still a young band finding their feet and making their way through a crowded scene. 2019 has already been somewhat of a mini-breakthrough year, following the release of both this ep and the single. Add to this an appearance at Devauden Festival, they undoubtably have lots of reason to be confident and enthused as they make their way in the music world.

“Romance Isn’t Dead, It’s Only Sleeping” has already been released on all digital formats. Check it out here on Spotify or by heading over to their YouTube page.
